F.I.R.S.T. Institute Graduates Speak February 2019
Our instructors take pride in our hands-on approach to teaching. F.I.R.S.T. students come to us because they are passionate about being professional creatives.
That’s why we make it our duty to give them the quality education they deserve. Check out what some of our alumnihave to say about their experiences at our technical school:
Jack Euley
Jack Euley graduated from the Recording Arts & Show Production program. He says his favorite thing about F.I.R.S.T. is the hands-on learning approach.
The graduate also likes the environment on the Orlando campus. According to Jack, everyone is cool, welcoming and accepting. Euley says the teachers really push you a lot. Overall, he pretty much enjoyed everything about the Florida recording school.
Brent Garner
Brent Garner is a Digital Filmmaking & Video Production graduate. He tells us that he didn’t know anything about film when he initially enrolled at F.I.R.S.T.
He shared his favorite thing about the Orlando technical school with us. Brent says the instructors really did a good job showing him little samples of how everything in the film industry works.
Miguel Prevost
Miguel Prevost is a Recording Arts & Show Production program graduate. His favorite thing about attending F.I.R.S.T. is the easy access to production and recording equipment.
He also loves the teachers. Miguel says students aren’t lacking when it comes to education. You’re not sacrificing a quality education or anything like that by attending a technical school.
Prevost honestly loves the school. He tells us it was all worth it.
Christen McCoy
Christen McCoy graduated from the Recording Arts & Show Production program. Her favorite thing about attending the technical school was the environment. They make everyone feel so comfortable.
The staff motivates you, says Christen. They always make you feel really at ease. She tells us she just pushed herself to work harder. And now that she’s graduated, she’s never been happier.
Deondre Willingham
Deondre Willingham is a graduate of the Graphic Design & Web Development program. As an artist, his favorite part of the program was the fact that the instructors were really open to project ideas.
When it comes to art, they don’t insist that you do one specific thing set in stone. They let you have creative freedom with your projects.
To Deondre, that’s everything. Because as an artist, Willingham says you should be allowed to show off your creativity. And F.I.R.S.T. allows you to do that, adding, “So, it was great!”
Elyssa Tavares
Elyssa Tavares is a Digital Filmmaking & Video Production graduate. Her favorite thing about attending the program was meeting everyone and getting to work with so many different people.
She enjoyed taking part in different projects that she didn’t have access to before attending the Orlando film and video production school.
With excitement in her eyes, Elyssa tells us that she learned how to do everything pre-production and post-production at F.I.R.S.T.
Antonio Thornton
Antonio Thornton graduated from the Recording Arts & Show Production program. He says his favorite thing about the school is the bonding that went down.
When you start attending F.I.R.S.T. Institute, you expect to do some kind of networking and things of that nature. But it’s much more than that, Antonio says.
In a sense, you end up creating a really wide family. Thornton’s class, classes before him and the ones after him still keep in touch with each other. So, for him, the biggest plus is definitely the bonds that he made at the recording and production school.
