FAQs

Got questions?

We’ve got answers. Here are some popular questions asked by our students and parents.

How do I know if I’m eligible to apply?

Utilize the F.I.R.S.T. Institute Catalog under School Downloads on the website. In the Admissions section, there is a list that details what every student must complete and obtain before enrolling in school.

How do I apply for school?

You will want to request info by filling out the form on the website homepage and clicking submit. After that, an Admissions Representative will contact you about your interest, schedule a campus/online tour of our school, and walk you through the online application.

When do classes start?

Classes start several times throughout the year, however, seating is very limited due to our small class sizes. We recommend applying to F.I.R.S.T. Institute as soon as possible to have the best chance of getting the start date and class time you want.

Do you offer financial aid?

Financial aid is available to those who qualify. We offer FAFSA and scholarships, accept most Military Benefits, and offer several tuition and payment options to assist in making it as affordable as possible to get your education.

What equipment and textbooks do I need to purchase for classes?

Textbooks are included in the tuition price and the majority of equipment is available on campus for students to use. Under School Downloads on the website, there is a detailed list of required class materials and their costs in the Financial Aid section of the F.I.R.S.T. Institute Catalog.

Do you offer on-campus housing?

Although there is no on-campus housing at F.I.R.S.T. Institute, we have partnered with EDUrent and Homestay Anywhere to make it easier for you to move to Orlando. On EDUrent.com, students can search apartments close to school, find roommates, and even get tools to help fund their student housing. Go to Student Life > Student Housing for more information on both partners.

Can you help me find employment?

All students take courses in Career Development, complete an industry internship, as well as work one-on-one with a Career Development advisor. Our advisors assist students in making the transition from education to employment. Our Career Development department is also available to students even after they graduate.
